Product Launch

Card Shark is an action-adventure game developed by Nerial and published by Devolver Digital. The game was released for Windows and Nintendo Switch on June 2, 2022. We undertook some extensive audience analysis to see which players would be most likely to play a game of this unusual nature. Ranging from ‘Point n ’click’ adventure gamers; to fans of narrative games; to poker players who own a Switch or PC.

We looked to target these audiences across a variety of social platforms to accompany the video and endemic gaming site media buying we were activating. Additionally we created a bespoke content piece working with Gamesradar, getting a real magician to evaluate the difficulty of the tricks from the game. We had to run a concentrated campaign to obtain cut-through prior to all the E3 announcements, that were happening at that time, coming out.
