A Spooky Top 10

In October 2025, we worked on our very first media campaign with Kazoo Films, supporting the release of their spooky family film, Night of the Zoopocalypse.

“When a meteor crashes into Colepepper Zoo, it unleashes a virus that transforms the zoo animals into zombies. Gracie, a quirky young wolf, teams up with a gruff mountain lion named Dan to lead a wacky team of animals - including Xavier, the movie-obsessed lemur, Frida the fiery capybara, and Poot the baby pygmy hippo - on a perilous mission to escape the virus and rescue their zoo, on one spooky NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE!”

The media campaign aimed to build awareness ahead of Release Week, drive traffic to purchase tickets once the film hit cinemas, and maintain momentum, encouraging family admissions during the half term holidays.

Parents were our primary target audience, however, to achieve a standout media campaign, it was crucial to craft an omni-channel approach with opportunities to reach the whole family. This included a Radio campaign on KISStory, which indexes very highly for Parents and provided cost-efficient reach. We also activated an OOH campaign in some of the largest malls throughout the UK and Ireland, focusing on fewer screens in high traffic areas for families, to maximise impact.

Our co-viewing strategy was further complemented through a combination of Sky, ITVX and YouTube VOD. We combined demographic and contextual targeting to reach our audience during peak family time hours.

Across Social channels we reactively boosted posts that gained the most organic traction, helping to grow the client’s social presence whilst also driving parents to purchase tickets for the film.

The campaign’s strong performance was reflected in the box office, with Night of the Zoopocalypse exceeding expectations for ticket sales and receiving plaudits from families across the UK and Ireland. This resulted in the first box office top 10 for Kazoo Films, reaching #7 during its opening weekend.
